Zest is a fresh and dynamic organisation with a passion to see children and young people from all parts of the community have access to the arts and engage positively either as audience members or participants.
Staff Zest uses experienced, professionally trained youth arts practitioners with a wide range of experience and skills. We have dedicated full time staff and a bank of specialist freelance workers and actors. Zest's experienced staff bring years of professional commitment to community youth arts and an excellent reputation from some of the country's leading arts and community based organisations.
Our Focus At the heart of our work is passion, respect, encouragement, equality for all and most of all fun! We have a professional touring theatre company and a host of creative participation projects. All Zest projects create a culture of inclusion and consultation where individuals feel part of the community rather than excluded from it. Zest's work is aimed at engaging the whole community but has a particular focus on those most deprived, disaffected, in need or at risk as well as those who present challenging behaviour.
